A day of special celebrations

To mark the 1,509th anniversary of the Capitular Library, whose history can be traced back to 517 AD, Saturday 1 August will feature special admission rates and guided tours.

More than 1,200 manuscripts, including works unique in the world

The Capitolare holds a collection of over 1200 manuscripts, including works that are unique in the world. Among its shelves we can trace texts from the most diverse disciplines: theology, law, poetry, philosophy, astronomy, medicine, botany, history and numerous other sciences.
