The appointments with the workshop cycle ‘Meeting the amanuensis’ are back!

This year we have devised a true journey in 5 meetings, which will accompany us throughout 2025 with different themes and guests.

We start on 15 and 16 February with Anna Schettin, who - starting from some ancient manuscripts of the Capitolare - will introduce us to the discovery of the elegant uncial script.

On 12 and 13 April, Ernesto Casciato will return, who will lead us to discover the world of inks.

On 14 and 15 June, we will welcome Ivano Ziggiotti, who will illustrate the techniques for producing two different types of illuminated illustrations.

Anna Schettin will return on 20 and 21 September to retrace the development of Caroline script, from the Carolingian era to the Renaissance.

The last appointment, on 8 and 9 November, will again be held by Ernesto Casciato and will allow us to experiment with different writing instruments, both classical and unusual.

The appointments will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The cost for each meeting is € 170, including materials and handouts. ICOM, FAI and CoinCard members benefit from a discounted rate of € 160. There is a 15% discount for those who register for at least 3 meetings.
