The Capitolare takes part in the ‘Arte in gioco’ programme, related to the XXII edition of Tocatì - international festival of street games, on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September. 

On the two dates, a special guided tour entitled ‘Consuls, oxen and kings’ will be held, which will retrace the history of the library with some in-depth studies on the theme of games, both along the exhibition route and through the viewing of some dedicated documents that can be observed up close. The visit, which costs €15, will be available at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday and at 3.30 p.m. on Sunday.

On both days, from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., it will also be possible to try out the ancient game of Merlèr, within the spaces of the evocative Canonical Cloister (on whose stones several game boards are engraved!). The activity is accessible for free.
