EVENTI

On Friday 10 November at 5.30 p.m. the Chapter Library will host a special literary event!

Monsignor Bruno Fasani, Prefect of the Capitolare, journalist, columnist and writer, will present his latest novel 'Quel prete è da fucilare', published by Tau Editrice. The event will be presented by Prof. Bruno Avesani.

We are in the autumn of '44, in the Veronese mountains. The fascists go to arrest Luigi. He was put in prison and tortured, guilty only of being the brother of Don Antonio, who was also arrested and brought before the firing squad. And this because he had wanted to secure, in a nunnery, the daughter of a well-known partisan, whom the Nazi-Fascists wanted to use to force her father to surrender. The power of language accompanies the unfolding of the episodes from the very beginning, giving depth to the characters and their environment. A picture from which powerful values emerge, such as family, faith, the contrada as an educational courtyard, the dignity of each person.

Admission free subject to availability.
