We report the opening of the Call for papers for the seventh edition of the "International conference on watermarks in digital collections" of the Bernstein project - the memory of paper.

The conference will be held in Verona, at the Chapter Library, on Sept. 6 and 7, 2023, concluding on Friday, Sept. 8, with a session at the Toscolano Maderno Paper Museum on Lake Garda. During the days of the conference, guided tours of the Chapter Library and the Seminary Library are also scheduled.

The initiative is aimed at scholars, paper experts, conservators, curators, people involved in watermark research or who are interested in the topic.

To propose a paper, you are requested to send an abstract of up to one folder and a brief biographical note, by July 10 to:
