EVENTI

Starting on 30 January, “The evolution of language” will open to the public: a journey to discover the birth of the vernacular, particularly Italian. From the first notes to the great masterpieces of Dante, Petrarch and Boccaccio, to lesser-known local authors such as Gidino da Sommacampagna, to the reflections of Pietro Bembo and the Accademici della Crusca, and the works of Manzoni. This journey will take us to the origins of our way of expressing ourselves, relating to each other, observing and describing the world, in a journey that transforms words into living testimony of a shared history. The exhibition is open every day - except Wednesdays - in the exhibition spaces of the Capitolare.
