EVENTI

As part of the 20th edition of ArtVerona, from 9 to 26 October, we will host the exhibition Wounded Words Wounding Words, curated by Marta Cereda.
The exhibition presents a series of works that highlight the revolutionary value of words, coming from both private collections and galleries participating in ArtVerona.
La Capitolare will become a space for discussion where the words preserved in the manuscripts are overlaid with the signs of the damage suffered during the devastating bombing of 1945.
In this context of history and resistance, an exhibition takes shape that focuses on the word as a field of tension, investigating the relationship between language, ideology and, at times, violence.
The selected works - paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations, videos, actions - explore its ambivalent potential: a tool for communication but also for manipulation; a vehicle for truth, but also for propaganda; a weapon and a refuge, construction and reconciliation.
Admission €7 - reduced €6 for ArtVerona ticket holders.
Exhibition hours:
Friday 10 and Saturday 11 October, 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sunday 12 October, 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
From 13 to 26 October, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
(Last admission 30 minutes before closing).
On Friday 10 October, at 7 p.m., Stina Fors will perform A Mouthful of Tongues, a show in which the voice appears detached from the artist's body. Her work is full of tension, humour and pure power.
The performance is included in the admission ticket - subject to availability.
